Adidas "Splash Pack" World Series Vending Machine — Boston & Los Angeles, Adidas

We installed live digital vending machines inside sports bars in Boston and Los Angeles (Tony C's Sports Bar & Grill and 33 Taps), during the 2018 World Series between the Red Sox and Dodgers. The machines dispensed free gear in real time, with prizes tied directly to what was happening in the game.

If J.D. Martinez hit a home run, the machine unlocked autographed J.D. Martinez gear. If Kiké Hernández made a big play, his cleats dropped. Prizes ranged from rally towels and t-shirts to limited-edition autographed items from Adidas athletes on both rosters. The activation was rooted in Adidas's postseason "Splash Pack" cleat line (gear inspired by championship celebrations) and brought that same energy directly to fans watching the games live.
